Expanding Our Minds…
Broadening Our Understanding
“Who are wise? Those who learn from other people.” Pirkei Avot 4:1
Judaism teaches that human beings exist in a constant state of becoming. Where animals operate in the realm of instinct and reaction, human beings operate in the realm of free-will and making responsible choices. To that end, human beings must continually wrestle with what they think they know about themselves, reality, and the world we live in.
Judaism views learning as one of the important ways that human beings can achieve their potential. Studying and learning, contrary to popular culture, never end and the more humans learn, the greater we become.
