The ladies of Temple Beth Ohr have a long-standing tradition of supporting the temple both spiritually and financially. Each year the TBO Sisterhood makes monetary donations to help with camperships, educational supplies, student trips, temple beautification, and so much more.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday beginning at 6:30 for socializing and 7:00 meeting & program.
Membership dues are $40, with a portion of that going to WRJ and the Y.E.S. fund which supports Youth, Education and Special programming throughout the world.
Most recently they recognized one of the founding Sisterhood members, Ethel Shein, as their Woman of Valor, in conjunction with WRJ’s Centennial Celebration.
Whether they are organizing a rummage sale, fashion show, guest speaker, game night, cooking demonstration, field trip, dine out, or even a meal of condolence for a grieving family – Sisterhood is one of the Temple’s cornerstone auxiliary groups.
